Neat-os Reusable Baggies

As part of my ongoing effort to live a more sustainable lifestyle, I have tried to reduce the amount of plastic in my life. I use canvas bags when shopping, cloth produce bags at the farmer’s market and stainless steel water bottles. Neat-os provided the solution to the missing piece of the puzzle, reusable plastic bags.

Neat-os Reusable Plastic Baggies Made in USA

There are several re-usable plastic baggies on the market, but there are several features of Neat-os that set them apart from the pack:

  • Made in California of all American-made components.
  • Made of FDA-certified food safe materials.
  • BPA, phalate, PVC and lead free.
  • Dish-washer safe.
  • Can be decorated with fabric markers.

Decorate Your Neat-os Reusable Plastic Baggies Made in USAI featured Neat-os in my Holiday Gift Guide, and have been using their resuable snack, sandwich and gallon bags ever since. I have found a host of uses for my bags. In addition to storing snacks and lunch, I have used my Neat-os to hold everything from tea leaves to soap. I have been using my Neat-os sandwich bag to carry baby wipes in my diaper bag for a few months and they stay nice and moist. Other Neat-os fans have reported all kinds of uses for their bags, including using them as crayon holders, make-up bags, party goodie bags and more.

Just one Neat-os bag can replace hundreds of plastic bags. Plastic bags that would otherwise be destined to an eternity in a landfill. Small choices like using reusable bags instead of plastic baggies can have a huge impact on our environment.

I would use them to take snacks for playdates, and then lunches when school starts again!!

I haven’t seen them in Toronto. Using markers to decorate them will make crafters like me interested. I use the Ziplock bags. I use them again after washing in cold water. We try to use everything more than once to save the money and Earth.

  3. Amanda says

I hope I win this time! We have some other reusable sandwich bags (also made in the USA), but things get stale in them after a day or so. Since these zip I’m hoping they may keep things fresh longer.

  4. Susan Dobie says

I’d use them for lunches and for organizing my small items for travel. I am loving these – I would love to try them out!

They are inexpensive to make, and once you’ve made them you will never have to buy disposable snack bags again. Making these snack bags is a great project for using up scrap fabric.
