You know those people who dress up their pets? You know, those crazy dog owners who love trying cute styles out on their “fur babies?” The same ones that spoil their beloved pooches with organic treats, trendy collars and comfy dog beds that stay vacant while the dog cuddles up with them in their own bed?
Guess what? I’m one of them! Over the years both my dogs have sported everything from handmade knit sweaters, Halloween costumes and even a pair of doggles. Check my boys out in their new digs.

I was recently contacted by Erica, founder of American Digs. Her dream was to create the first line of dog apparel and accessories completely made in the USA. A proud pet parent herself, Erica is committed not only to boosting the economy but also to supporting numerous pet service programs and dog charities. When we lived in D.C. my husband and I volunteered at the local Humane Society shelter so I can really appreciate how vital that support is.
With her business up and running, American Digs has launched a successful line of dog apparel, collars and accessories. The products feature a fresh preppy look and everything in the collection is under $50. Erica sent me a dog puffer coat for keeping Ezra toasty, and for extra fun she threw in a dog polo for Milo, who has a bit more insulation.
The dogs’ new digs came just in time for a snow storm. Like most dogs on the small size, my two hate any type of precipitation, and snow is the worst. I have to drag them out the door and Ezzy immediately runs back shivering and sad. His new aqua dog puffer coat is perfect for him, thick with a fleece lining and a water-repellent shell. Ezra got a size small (he is about 14 lbs), and it fits him perfectly. The vest-like design of the coat makes it a snap to get on and off. And unlike some of the other gear I’ve subjected him to over the years, he does not seem to mind wearing it a bit. In fact, when he came back in from a walk he took off upstairs and cozied up back in bed with the coat still on. When I got it off of him later, his body radiated heat like a furry heating pad.
Milo received the dog polo in a coordinating turquoise hue. The cute shirt is made of a stretchy jersey material. This is a good thing because squeezing my handsome but borderline obese hound into the shirt required some maneuvering. American Digs products fit dogs up to 45 lb, which is about where Milo fills out the XL. The look is rounded out with a pocket and buttons, making this top a fun piece for a preppy dog’s wardrobe. Milo was not bothered by wearing the shirt in the least. To be honest the simple dog didn’t even really seem to notice it!
I was impressed by the quality of the craftsmanship from American Digs. The puffer coat is practical and cute while the polo is fun and trendy. we spoil our dog by taking him with us a lot of places & going for lots of walks!
We spoil them by letting them snuggle and be with us constantly.
I take my dog everywhere!! I lub him <3
I give him cheese or small surprises, like dried chicken or dried liver.

My pup is my baby. Hes my daughters protector, even though hes a tiny chihuahua mix. I love him to bits and pieces! Hes the best dog i’ve ever had.
She knows she has us wrapped around her paw….everytime we bring the grocery bags in, she knows there’s treat in there for her!

Oh gosh, It would take me all day to answer this question, but for starters I hand feed my 2 dogs twice a day, buy treats everytime I go out. Every saturday they get a new stuffed animal, the list goes on and on and on……

i spoil by giving ppl food sometimes.
I spoil my pet with hugs & kisses, I let them sleep in my bed, get on the furniture and I hold them like babies. They’e like my children.
