Review and Giveaway: Night Owl Paper Goods

I love making lists. Grocery lists, party planning, work assignments, blogging tasks, I make them all. Maybe it’s my way of attempting some semblance of order in the otherwise disorganized state my office is often found in. Or maybe it’s a way to keep focused and motivated in achieving my daily goals. Either way, getting an orderly array of words of ideas is always fun, even more so when you have some adorable stationary to use.

So to explain why I love Night Owl Paper Goods and carry their products in the Made in America Marketplace, I will seize this opportunity to present you with a list. Here are “The Top Five Things I Love About Night Owl Paper Goods.”

  1. They are made locally in Alabama.
  2. They are eco-friendly, using sustainably harvested wood and recycled paper.
  3. They handcraft their unique handmade letterpress cards and wooden gifts.
  4. They support several charitable organizations, like the Red Cross and Humane Society.
  5. Their products are absolutely adorable, functional and affordable!

I received a bag of goodies from Night Owl Paper Goods to check out their handmade “modern yet folksy” treats. The package contained an Olive Owl Journal, two cards and a picture frame, all neatly presented in a reusable fabric bag.The journal has real wood covers (I love the smell) with unlined white pages well bounded for all your notes, lists and thoughts. The “Plank Letters” card is a simple but colorful and bold “Happy Birthday” greeting. The unique feature here is that the paper is made from reclaimed cotton from garment factories. The cute “Beep! Beep! Bug!” card is a postcard style greeting that doubles as a small art print . The Plaid Congratulations card is preppy and pretty. The matching frame is actually a thin slice of birch wood with slots for your favorite photo. All the items are unique, well crafted and adorable indeed.

Night Owl Paper Goods has generously offered a giveaway of a $20 gift certificate. Check out some of my top picks you could choose from that are featured in the Marketplace, then let us know what your favorite product is,
