Rules

Some basic ground rules for the USA Made Challenge:

• I will visit all retail stores excluding kiosks, food venues, and services, (salons, medical facilities and repair shops).
• I will visit stores alphabetically and attempt to review each on a regular basis to be determined by my schedule.
• I will try to photograph the item(s) found in each store, unless otherwise not permitted.
• If no item of USA origin can be located, I will ask store personnel. If they are unable to provide information, I will either speak to a manager or write the company a letter detailing my concerns.
• I will remain courteous and professional in my interactions with every store employee (per my family’s request).
• I will stick to a strict no-purchase policy while shopping (per my husband and my bank account)!
• I will do my best to educate myself and others about the issues concerning buying items made in third world countries.
